A. IBF will cut doors for an additional fee should the interior doors need cut to allow for flooring to be installed.
B. IBF is not responsible for the condition of the customer's subfloor. Should there be an unforseen issue once flooring is removed or any noticeable issues prior to installation of new floor. The customer is solely responsible.
C. IBF is not responsible for any damage to shoe mould during removal. In the case, when we need to remove and re-install shoe mould, we will be careful when removing it. However, age and amount of paint, caulk, etc. we cannot guarantee that the shoe mould will not break while being removed. If this occurs, additional cost will be added for new shoe mould and will be the customers responsibility for payment.
D. IBF installers will do a walk-through with customer at the end of installation. In the event the customer cannot be at the job site upon completion of the project, customer must contact IBF within 48 hours for any issues.
E. IBF installers will move furniture and appliances for a charge. If there is a gas appliance, the customer will be responsible for the disconnection and re-connection. IBF assumes no responsibility for gas appliances.
F. On orders that are material only, all defects and shortages in material must be reported in 24 hours.
G. IBF will dispose of materials they remove.
H. The warranty for all outdoor flooring is 60 days from date of installation.
I. IBF will determine the placement of seams of material to be put together by installer. Unless prior to ordering customer expresses to IBF the placement of seams and direction the floor is to be laid.
J. Any material held for installation or pick-up in IBF's warehouse must be installed or picked up within 60 days. If material is still in the possession of IBF, IBF has the discretion to continue to hold the material or dispose of it and retain the deposit monies as liquidated damages. A notice to customer will be sent prior to that decision.
K. IBF does not warranty any loose laid or taped down installations.
L. A free measurement is offered by IBF prior to placing and order.
M. In the case when the order is placed based on the customer's measurements or blueprint take-offs, IBF is not responsible for shortages or overages. It is customer's responsibility for any additional cost that may be incurred.
N. IBF will assist customer in making any claims to the carpet manufacturer should there be a need to make a claim for the materials. This will be based on warranty requirements. IBF is the warranty guarantor.
O. IBF does not guarantee an exact color match from the sample to the supplied product. This is due to the various dye lot changes during the production process.
P. IBF offers credit options through outside lenders. if the order is placed through credit, all finance paperwork must be signed when placing order. The order will not be placed until this has been completed.
Q. IBF cannot guarantee a delivery date if material is not already on site. Delivery is contingent on weather delays, strikes, lockouts, fire, accidents, inability to obtain material, government acts and any other reason beyond IBF's control.
R. In cases where IBF is installing the material purchased, IBF will contact customer to schedule the installation once the material is in IBF's warehouse.
S. Special order material can take up to 4-8 weeks to receive material.
If the customer cancels the sale after material is ordered, cut or taken out of inventory, the customer agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum equal to thirty five percent (35%) of the total purchase price of materials. If the customer cancels after the existing flooring is removed by IBF, IBF is not responsible for re-installation or return of the old materials and the customer agrees to pay thirty fiver percent (35%) of the labor price.
